Severus Snape caught sight of Lily Evans only child. If only things
had been different.
Lily would still be alive. And the two of them, he and Lily, would
have raised their son.
But they didn't. He didn't. His late best friend, James Potter, did.

*But I can't really blame him. James was only doing what that
infernal Sirius Black told
him. Nor can I blame Remus Lupin. It's not his fault that he's a
werewolf.* His mind
wandering was interrupted when his son was called to be seated.
Ironically, they were
both thinking the same thing. *Not Slytherin. Not Slytherin. Not
Slytherin.* Once upon a
time, Severus Snape would have gladly urged any child to be in the
House of Slytherin.
*But that was before a spider bite changed the course of my destiny.*

+Severus Snape was sitting down awaiting for the new Transfiguration
professor,
Hogwarts alumni Minerva McGonagall. However, his attention was drawn
to an
attractive Muggle-born witch. Lily Evans. Severus fell in love with
her at first sight. He
even dreams about her. About what could happen. *But that will never
happen. Her in
Gryffindor, I in Slytherin. Her from muggle parents, I from pureblood
parents. Besides,
why would Lily choose some glasses wearing, skinny-boned geek over
James "The
Beefman" Potter.*

His internal monologue was interrupted when the doors were thrown
open. "Good
morning class. I am your new Transfiguration professor. For your
first lesson, you will
learn to transfigure objects into animals. Like so." She flicked her
wand and placed it
onto her goblet. The golden cup transfigured into a raven. "And there
you have it. Now,
each of you will have a different result. Each animal you end up with
will represent your
spirit guide."

James Potter ended up with a stag. Sirius Black, a dog. Remus Lupin,
a wolf. Lucius
Malfoy, a scorpian. Peter Pettigrew, a rat. Marcus Goyle, a rhino.
Damien Crabbe, a
lizard. Lily Evans, a black cat. And Severus Snape, a spider. The
entire class each ended
up with different results.

"Well done, everyone. Well done. Now, follow my example. If you do
this correctly, your
animals will turn back into your goblets." Professor McGonagall
instructed.

As the students did as told, one lagged behind. Severus, himself.
Before the reversal spell
could be cast, the spider jumped on his left hand. And bit him.
Severus blacked out.+

When Severus had opened his eyes, he saw himself back in his chair in
the Great Hall. He
also noted that Harry had been sorted into Gryffindor. He allowed a
small curve to his
upper lip. *Good show son. Good show, indeed.* He appraised mentally.

After the dinner was complete, Professor Severus Snape retired to his
dungeon/flat. He
walked over to his wardrobe closet. The potion's master opened the
front to reveal a
second door. He opened that one and in it laid two different
costumes. The first one is a
smaller costume. One that had not fit him since his days as a
student. It's colors represent
the British flag. Red, white and blue. The second, larger one is
black and white. Severus
had been wearing that since the death of his beloved Lily.

His thoughts returned to when he awoke from that fateful day.

+Severus awoke in the hospital wing. With two very worried young
ladies looking down
upon him. Lily and Poppy Pomfry. "What happened?" He croaked.

"The spider evaded the counter-spell and bit you on your left hand."
Poppy, who was the
understudy for the current head nurse, had answered. "You blacked out
and that was three
days ago."

"I....WE were all very worried about you, Sev. We weren't all sure if
you would ever
make it." Lily responded.

Severus noted the slip. He allowed a smile to appear. "I didn't know
that you cared, Lily."
He said, with a note of innuendo.

Lily caught that tone, because it caused her to blush. To same color
of her hair. "Who else
would help me with potions? That slimy Lucius?"+

The memories then flooded Severus' mind. But he pushed them all down.
*Keep your
mind on the mission, Snape. As long as Voldemort is around, you must
keep the facade
going. As long as Voldemort is around, you can never be a father to
Harry.* His attention
turned to his costume. Something else came to his mind. *I can't, but
Spider-Man can.*

Halloween night.

"TROLL!!!!!!!!! TROLL IN THE DUNGEON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Professor
Quirrell belted out
running into the Great Hall. "Just thought you all would want to
know." He mentioned
before he passed out.

Panic and chaos reigned supreme. Only the sound of Dumbledore's voice
quelled the riot.
"SILENCE!!!!!" His voice called out to all. The headmaster
continued. "Everyone will
please calm down. Prefects will lead their houses back to their
dormitories. Teachers will
follow me to the dungeon." Dumbledore said in a calm and relaxed
voice.

A tingling sensation hit Severus in the back of his skull. *Huh? What
the...?
Spider-sense? Now? And it's calling me to.....the third floor
corridor? As much as I want
to help the other professors, I must reach the stone before Voldemort
does.* Snape took a
secret passage way known only to him. Moving as fast as possible, he
disrobes and
reveals himself as....THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN!!!!!!!

When he reached the staircases, Spider-Man shot out a string of
mystic webbing. And
swung up the third floor. And caught sight of the one person he never
imagined. Professor
Quirrell.

Attempting to get past Fluffy, the three-headed giant guard dog.
Before reaching him,
Spider-Man cast a charm spell upon himself. So instead of seeing the
wall-crawling
wonder of Hogwarts, the traitor would only see the Professor of
Potions.

Snape made it in time. Just barely, though. In the process, Fluffy
got a piece out of Snape.
Leaving a nasty gash on his left calf.

In the process, Quirrell bolted out of there like a bat out of hell.
Severus, himself, used his
spider-like agility to escape. Before Fluffy decides on seconds.

*With that out of the way, my attention must be turned to the troll.
And any foolish
students wishing to make a name for themselves.* He released another
string and used his
spider-sense to track down the mountian troll.

Swinging his way through the corridors, he felt a deep, heavy
movement. Sticking to the
ceiling, Spider-Man spotted the troll entering the girl's bathroom.
Then he saw Harry and
Arthur's youngest son, Ron, arguing. "Listen Harry, if you want to go
and save little
`Miss Know It All' that's your business. But I for one am not going
to risk myself for
her." Ron Weasley ran off to catch up with the others. This outburst
had shocked
Spider-Man immensely. *I know Arthur very well. I can't believe that
young man is his
son.* Harry shot back. "If YOU don't want to help me, then fine! That
means you're not
really my friend after all!" Harry then ran off to face the troll.
Alone.

Severus was torn in his feelings. On one hand, he was very proud of
Harry. For standing
up for what he believes in. On the other, Severus was extremely
scared. His only son was
walking into what quite possibly is his death! *Severus Snape can't
do anything. But
Spider-Man can.* He dropped the charm and went into battle.

However, before he arrived, Spider-Man saw that things were in good
hands. *My son
had bested a mountian troll?!? True he had help, but it's the
principle of the thing.* He
developed a huge grin underneath his mask.

Then he spotted Professors McGonogall and....Quirrell. *That traitor
probably showed up
to save his own miserable hide.*

He then overheard Minerva congratulating Harry and Hermione on a job
well done. Each
earning ten points. When they exited, Spider-Man noticed that his son
and Miss Granger
were holding hands. All the way to the dormitory. *Hopefully, history
will not repeat
itself.* He thought mentally, also recalling his own relationship
with Lily. And the
disastrous results that ended theirs.

+"You're in league with the `Dark Lord'?!?" Lily screeched. "I can't
believe that I
actually let you touch me!" She pointed to the door. "Get out. Or I
will sic Fluffy on you."
She seathed.

Severus left without a word. And without telling Lily the whole
truth.+

Several weeks had passed since the troll incedent. And both Severus
and Spider-Man
were keeping an ever vigilant watch over Harry. And like the good
father he is, Severus
was always within earshot. But never within eyesight. Sev looked down
upon his son
being instructed by the captian/keeper of the Gryfindor team. Oliver
Wood. *My son is a
seeker. Just like his mum and da. We were the best seekers of our
time. Plaques don't
mean anything. Skill is everything.* His thoughts went back to when
Lily taught him to
be a seeker.

+"What do you think, Sev?" Lily asked. They are risking points from
their individual
houses. But some things are meant to be risked.

"I think we're going to be caught, Lil." Severus replied. It had been
several weeks since
the spider-bite. And the first thing he noticed was of his no longer
need for glasses. In any
capacity, whatsoever. Increased muscle mass soon followed. The
latest seemed to be
increased agility.

He's done a good job of hiding his new attributes. But as always,
there was never
anything to hide from Dumbledore. The wise headmaster never said
anything, for they
would always come to him.

The smart ones anyway.

Thinking of a way to train himself, he talked Lily into teaching him
the rules of Quiditch.
She didn't ask why. Actually, Lil just wanted to spend more time with
Sev. Using their
Nimbus vintage broomsticks, Lil and Sev practiced very hard. Lily on
her Seeker moves
and Severus on perfecting his gifts. Although, he tried not to let
Lily know that.

After about four hours worth, a strange feeling hit Severus. *Odd.
It's coming from the
base of my skull. As if it has fallen asleep. The tingling is
increasing to great decibles. It's
like it's telling me danger is near. Almost as if....* Severus put
two and two together.
*That's it! Blast him!* "Lily! Lily!" He shouted. "We have to leave!
NOW!" Sev
hollered.

Lily rode up next to him. "What is it, Sev. What's wrong? What's
going on?" This recent
action of Sev's nearly scared her.

Sev was nearly breathless. "I can't explain it. Call it a `feeling'.
We must leave now. We
are in danger." Lily nodded her head and the two fled back to
Hogwarts.

Moments later Lord Voldemort and his minions showed up. Looking to
recruit fresh
blood.+

And his spider-sense has never failed him since. With his hearing he
caught on to what
the conversation was about.

"But you are the seeker. All you have to worry about is this." Oliver
knelt down and
retrieved a small, golden ball. "The Golden Snitch. It's wicked fast
and damn near
impossible to see. Not unlike Spider-Man, actually." The team captian
mentioned.

Harry grinned, paying more attention to the ball instead of Hogwarts
resident
wall-crawler. "I like this ball. I like it alot." He said enthused.

Oliver had a mirror smile on his face. "Ah. You like it now. Wait
until it's in the air." He
said cryptically.

A question came across Harry's mind. "What am I to do with it?" The
first year student
inquired.

"You catch it." He started off. "Before the other team seeker does.
You catch this, Potter,
and you win the game." Oliver, being an only child, loved answering
any question first
years have. And as such, he could tell when one came. "Got another
question, Potter?"

Harry nodded. "You mentioned `Spider-Man'. I've heard teachers talk
about him. And
seventh years in a hushed voice. Even Hagrid talked of him once. Who
is he, anyway? Is
he a muggle? Is he a wizard? Where does he come from? What can he do?
Does he really
do things a spider can?" Harry went on babbling questions one right
after another.

Severus nearly lost concentration from doubling over from contained
laughter. *It appears
that my son is my greatest fan. It's nice to have one.* He then
noticed the sun alignment.
*It's almost time for my class. I better move quick.* And as he left,
Severus could still
hear the bargement of questions coming from Harry.

Coming soon would be Christmas, and Severus knew from personal
experiance that this
is the loneliest holiday. *Perhaps I should drop the facade for a
little while. Just long
enough for Harry to get to know me. The traitor is nowhere in sight.
My spider-sense had
not activated since Halloween. And, of course, that means Voldemort
is not here.*

Just as he was about to do so, Snape noticed someone else asking
Harry the same thing.
Hermione Granger. *I shouldn't be suprised. Those two are practically
joined at the hip.
Ah, young love. I know the feeling very well.* He allowed a quirky,
little smile to show
upon his face.

"Becareful, Sev. Your face just might stick that way." A familiar,
feminine voice called
from his left.

Severus turned to see Madam Pomfry. Hogwarts head nurse. And one of
the last true
friends he has left. "Is there something you wanted, Poppy?" He asked
snidely.

She shook her head. "You can drop the act, Sev. It's just me.
Remember?" Poppy saw a
hint of embarrassment. "Ah. There it is." She herself started to show
signs of his reply.
"Severus, I...um....I know that Harry will be with Hermione this
Christmas. And, that is,
I...ur...was wondering...if...you...would" Poppy sucked in some air
the rest came out in a
rush. "spendtheholidayswithme."

Severus blinked. Out of all the years knowing her, Poppy never asked
Severus anything
like this. He turned his head back to where his son is. Or was. Harry
had already left. "Of
course. It would my honor. We will have to stay at Hogwarts,
naturally." He mentioned.

Poppy smiled. "Naturally." She acknowledged. Poppy didn't really care
where she spent
her holidays at, as long as she was with Severus.

Some days had past and Severus was, indeed, feeling like himself.
*Not Spider-Man. Not
a spy for Dumbledore. And certianly not a `minion' of Voldemort.*
Something
humourous came across his mind. *Heh-heh. I think I know how Harry
feels about being
`The Boy Who Lived'.* His thoughts then turned to his son. *I miss
him so much. There
must be something that I can do.* Something else came to mind.
*That's it!*

Severus raced to his quarters and retrieved something James left in
his care before....
Severus couldn't think about what happened to his friend and Lily.
Rummaging around,
the potions master found what he was looking for. A magic cloak. He
then grabbed a quill
and note paper.

*First things first. I cannot make it seem like it came from me. It
has to seem like it came
from someone Harry trusts. Hagrid. Good choice. But how would he have
come about it?
Poppy's another good choice. No, no. Best to stick with a professor.
Minerva? No.
Flintwick? Harry's good in that class. No. Not the best choice. He
never met James and
Lily, anyway. There's Professor Trelawny, Madam Sprout and Madam
Hooch. Harry
doesn't take Divination until his third year. He's struggling in
Herbology as it is. It would
seem awfully odd that his flight instructor gave him a Christmas
gift. Especially after
disobeying her warning.*

Severus was left in his thoughts when the answer came to him. A smile
spread across his
face. *Headmaster Dumbledore. Of course. He already thinks of Harry
as a grandson. It
would be perfect. Now. To write the note as if it actually came from
him.*

"Your father left this in my possession before he died. It was time
that it was returned to
you. Use it well."

And that was exactly how it seemed when Harry returned to spend New
Year's at
Hogwarts. And Harry put it to good use. He snuck into the Library to
find information on
Nicholas Flamel. And nearly got caught, to boot. Harry hurried out,
and almost ran smack
dab into Professors Snape and Quirrel.

Having a rather heated discussion. "You don't want me as your enemy,
Quirrell!" He
seathed.

The Professor of The Defense of the Dark Arts was stuttering. "Why, S-
Severus I, I, I,
don't know what you mean."

Snape looked daggers into the man's soul. "You perfectly know well
what I mean."
Something else seemed to catch his attention. He turned over to where
Harry was
standing, reached out...

...and grabbed nothing.

Snape twirled back over and pointed at Quirrel. "We'll have another
chat soon." He
threatened.

Just then Filch ran up and informed them of a student out of bed. The
three of them ran in
seperate directions.

And that left Harry to enter a room. A room with a mirror in it. The
Mirror of Erised.
Harry walked upto it and saw his reflection. And the reflections of
his parents. "Mum?
Dad?" He whispered.

His mother had placed her hand on his shoulder. And Harry put his
hand on hers, only
find that a real hand is indeed on his shoulder. Harry whipped around
to see a man.
Decked out in a form-fitting suit. All in black. With a white spider
on the front and back.
With Jack-o-Lantern eyes on the mask. "It does no good to dwell on
the past, Harry. And
I am speaking with experiance, here." The costumed figure mentioned.

Harry was inbetween being scared and thrilled. His up and bottom lips
quivered. "You're
Spider-Man, aren't you?" He asked, tentativly.

A small chuckle escaped the wall crawling wonder. "Yes, Harry, I am.
Now come. I must
get you back to your room. Before Filch catches you." He picked Harry
up and swung
back to Gryffindor tower.

Spider-Man waited untill Harry was past the picture. "Good night and
sweet dreams, my
son." He muttered.

By the next morning, the news had spread like wild-fire. That "The
Boy Who Lived" had
run across "The Wall-Crawling Wonder of Hogwarts". Everyone was eager
to know if it
was true. Even a few from Slytherin had inquired Harry about it.

Of course this hadn't helped his studies any better. Harry is
slipping in Transfiguration
and Potions, especially. A fact that is noticed by Professor
Snape. "Mr. Potter. You will
stay behind after class." Malfoy and his stooges all snickered. "Ten
points from Slytherin
for disruption of studies."

The students from the three other houses all smiled. They were all
shocked, true, but they
were all smiling. The biggest one coming from Harry.

After class had been dismissed, Hermione walked over and comforted
Harry. "It'll be
alright Harry." She whispered. The muggle-born witch then walked off
to study for her
test in Herbology.

Harry much felt like the lamb entering the lion's den. "What is it
that you wished to
discuss, sir?" He asked rather intimidated. It's not that he hates
him, it's just that Harry
doesn't trust him.

"Come here Potter. I've noticed that your grades have been slipping.
I, also, know of
someone capable of helping you." Snape, said almost human-like.

Harry was stunned, to say the least. "Why? Why are you doing this
sir? Especially that
you don't want me here at Hogwarts." He asked out of shock.

Snape sighed and shook his head slightly. "I have nothing against
you, Potter. You, Harry
Potter, student of Hogwarts I have nothing against. It's `The Boy Who
Lived' that I have
everything against." He could see the confusion on his son's face.

"In the life I've lived, I have become very cynical of celebrities.
In my experience, those
labled `celebrities', have used that to get whatever they desire. And
I will NOT stand for
it here at a school dedicated to teaching young sorcerers in the ways
of magic." He fully
explained. "And since you were raised by your mother's side, I would
assume that you are
fed with a silver spoon." Snape recalled from meeting Lily's parents.

+"And who might be this young, strapping lad?" Mr. Evans asked out
of curiosity.

Lily blushed. "This is Severus, father. I've wrote to you about him.
Remember?"

Her mother stepped forward. "Of course he does, Lily. He just likes
to give his daughters'
beaus a hard time." Her attention turned to the young man of the
conversation. "And any
lad that catches our Lily's eye, is good enough for us."

Severus blushed at the compliment.+

"Sir, are you well?" Harry asked out of concern. "You had this
faraway look on your face.
Like you were woolgathering."

"Just remembering of better times. Just remembering of better times."
Snape muttered.
He also remembered the look on Harry's face. He was uncomfortable
discussing his
family. "But they do not treat you well. Do they?" He said quietly.

Harry became even more uncomfortable. His eyesight laid upon his
right arm. The first
year student started to caress it gently.

Just by looking, Snape started to get suspicious. "Let me see your
arm, Potter." He
ordered gently.

Harry did as told. Severus lifted his sleeve to reveal several nasty
scars. *No one does this
to my son and lives. NO ONE!!!!* "Who did this to you Potter?" He
asked sternly.

Harry decided to play it dumb. "What are you talking about, sir?"

The potions professor looked intently at his son. "You perfectly know
well what I mean
boy."

Harry shivered at the word "boy". Then it dawned on Severus. "It's
that fat tub of lard,
Vernon Dersley. Isn't?" He surmized. "Listen,....Harry. No matter
what you think. No
matter what they have told you. This," Snape motioned to the
scars. "is wrong. No one
person has the right to do this to someone else. You must talk to
someone. Friends,
teachers, someone. It doesn't matter who. Please, you must understand
that I do care what
happens to you." The young boy didn't reply. "Harry?"

Not looking at him, Harry replied. "Who is it that you what me to be
tutored to?"

Snape sighed. "You've already met him. Spider-Man. Meet him ontop of
Gryfindor
tower. An hour before curfew." Harry nodded and left for his studies.
*Stupid! Stupid!
Stupid! After the way I've treated him, how would I expect him to
react?* He mentally
scolded himself. *It's almost unbelievable. He closes up to me. But
opens up to
Spider-Man. Maybe that's it. Perhaps Spider-Man can help Harry open
up to me.*
Severus thought ingeniously.

A little more than hour before curfew, Harry was sitting on his
Nimbus 2000 broomstick.
Waiting for Spider-Man. *I should have opened up to Professor Snape.
I think he only
wanted to help me. It's like he was there before. But it's so
confusing. When I'm in class
or in crowds, he hates me. But when it's just us, I'm `Just Harry'
and he's....he's... Well, I
don't know who he is. Maybe that's the real Snape. Maybe he just
wants to take care of
me. But now that brings up a whole new question.* "Why?" He whispered.

"Why indeed." A voice said next to him.

Harry whipped his head around to see Spider-Man, who was sticking to
the roof, merely
just under a meter away. The shock had caused Harry to loose
concentration. He lost his
ballance and fell off his broom. Unfortunately, Harry was several
hundred kilometers up
high.

Spider-Man did a dive, grabbed Harry, shot out a line of webbing and
swung down to the
ground safely. In all the commotion, Harry had forgotten about his
Nimbus. Which had
landed near a huge tree. Harry almost made a beeline, when Spider-Man
stopped him.
"Wait. Look." He instructed.

Harry did as told. A large branch came down and utterly destroyed his
only broomstick.
*That was the first gift I recieved here at Hogwarts. The first sign
that Professor
McGonagall actually cares about me.* A tear streaked down his right
cheek.

Spider-Man gently rubbed Harry's right shoulder. "It's alright Harry.
It's alright. Objects
can be replaced. People, especially those that you care about, can
not." *Small comfort to
your son, Sev. Time to change the subject.* "Perhaps now would be a
good time to start
your tutoring session." He said kindly.

Harry nodded. "Professor Snape said that you knew alot about potions.
That if anyone can
help me, it's you." He mentioned.

Spider-Man chuckled. *The challenges of a multiple life.* "Make no
mistake, Harry, I do
know potions. But nowhere near as Snape does. He's the potions master
for a reason. In
fact, it was he who helped me design these." Spider-Man lifted up
both sleeves to reveal
strange devices. "These are web-shooters. Aptly named, actually. I
came up with the
preliminary sketches. He made the webbing. And the both us, created
the shooters. It's a
good thing we were never caught. The both of us would have been
expelled. YOU try
smuggling muggle devices in school." He said lightly.

Harry laughed. "I'm glad you're tutoring and not Professor Snape.
You're a whole lot
more fun than he is." He said between guffaws.

Severus scowled underneath the mask. *Looks like my plan backfired.
Perhaps it would
be best to tell him some of the truth.* "Have you ever wondered why
Snape acts the way
he does?" He asked, hoping to pique Harry curiosity.

Harry thought about it. "When I first arrived, I hadn't thought much
about it. But after
today's class, it had started to come to that question." He answered
honestly.

The super-hero sighed. *That's some progress atleast.* "Harry, do you
know of the
Muggle term known as `spy'?" He asked with a semblence of fear. Fear
that Harry would
take it the wrong way.

He didn't. "Yeah. That means someone working for someone else, but is
really working
for another person." Harry really didn't have much experience with
the `outside' world,
but he did come across old newspaper clippings.

Spider-Man shrugged. "Something like that. A spy is a person sent to
a dangerous
situtation to get information for their superiors. You see Harry,
Severus Snape is a spy for
Dumbledore. And he's been doing that for a long time. Since his
seventh year at
Hogwarts, actually." He further explained in detail. "Snape's father
and grandfather are
fiercely loyal to... uh... `You Know Who'." Severus didn't want to
scare Harry by saying
that name.

A dark look passed Harry's features. "You mean Voldemort." Harry
said, with his teeth
gritted.

*So much bravery. So much courage. So much honor. I can't believe how
much came
from me and Lily.* Spider-Man nodded. "I wasn't sure if you were like
everyone else or
like Dumbledore, Hagrid and Snape. They're not afraid to say his name
either. Well, back
on track. When he was 17, Snape was forced to become a `Death-Eater'.
Basically the
eyes and ears of Voldemort. Only the love for your mother kept him
from succumbing
totally. As well as good friends. Arthur Weasly. His then girlfriend,
Molly. Who many
years later he ended up marrying. Lily's mum and dad, your
grandparents. God rest their
souls. I'm very certian that they would have loved to raise you.
Hagrid, of course. And
finally, Poppy Pomfry." Severus was again thankful for the mask.
Because Harry couldn't
see the silly grin plastered on his face.

That name seemed so familiar to Harry. He just stored in mentally for
another day. "I
suppose that the tutoring session should start." By the end of the
session, Harry had a
much better understanding of potions. In fact, Spider-Man even gave
him some pointers
in healing techniques.

For a special treat, Spider-Man swung Harry around Hogwarts till
sunup. And the two
watched the sunrise. *The only person missing is Lily.* Severus
thought to himself. He
looked down to see his son fast asleep, on his lap. He gently
carressed his hair. Then he
saw it. The scar. The scar that shouldn't be. The scar that prevents
Harry from being who
he is meant to be. *The same scar that Voldemort put there just
moments after killing my
true love. I swear upon the begining of our family line. Going back
to Rowena
Ravenclaw, herself. Voldemort will pay.* He thought with pure venom.
That was when
Severus spotted it. The slope of Harry's nose changed. Looking more
like a combination
of his and Lily's. *Maybe all hope is not lost after all.* He thought
with a content he had
not possesed since before Lily left him.

*By the holy family, I should wake him. But I just don't have the
heart to. It's a good
thing this is Easter weekend.* Gently, Severus picked his son up and
took him back to the
Gryfindor tower. "Capus Draconus." He whispered to the Fat Lady. She
opened and
Snape took Harry to his bed and laid him down. "Sleep well my son."
He looked over to
Hedwig. "Take good care of him, will you?" He asked, knowing that the
snowy owl
won't respond. Hedwig, to her credit, merely nodded her head. "Thank
you. Next to
Hermione, you are Harry's most loyal and clever friend." He
complimented her.

As he walked out, Severus realized that he was truly happy. Along the
way, he passed
Minerva's quarters. Nothing out of the ordinary, Snape always took
this route. It was the
shortest. He then saw the door open. Still in his Spider-Man costume,
he hid behind the
Griffin statue. That's when a large man exited. *Hagrid?* The
gameskeeper looked both
ways before leaving. Another person exited as well. *Minerva?* She
was wearing
nothing but her bedsheet. They both kissed passionately. *Great. Just
great. I wonder if
Flintwick can do a memory charm on me. Better yet, just use Flesh
Eating Slug Repelent
on my eyes.* When Hagrid left and Minerva returned, Severus made it
to his dungeon
without being caught.
